If you’re preparing to become a teacher in Bihar, there’s an important update for you. The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released a notice regarding the Bihar STET 2026. Bihar STET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Paper I – Secondary Teacher
- Bachelor Degree in Related Subject with at Least 50% Marks and Passed B.Ed.
- Master Degree in Related Subject and B.Ed. Passed.
- Bachelor/Master Degree with at least 45% marks and B.Ed. as per NCTE norms.
- Candidates who have passed 4 year BA B.Ed. / B.Sc B.Ed. course can also be eligible as per prescribed rules.
- Subject wise eligibility may vary, so please check the eligibility of the respective subject.
Paper II – Senior Secondary Teacher
- Passed Master Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks and B.Ed./BA B.Ed./B.Sc B.Ed.
- 45% marks in Master Degree and B.Ed. as per NCTE norms.
- Candidates having Master Degree with 55% marks and 3 year B.Ed.-M.Ed. Course can be eligible as per prescribed rules.
- Subject wise eligibility may vary.
Special Note: B.Ed. requirements for Computer Science and Music may differ from other subjects. Candidates must check their eligibility in the detailed notification.
